On 10 April, ACCIONA officially opened its new sales office in the city of Manila (Philippines), at 21/F, The Enterprise Center, Tower 2, Ayala Ave on the junction with Paseo de Roxas, Makati City, Manila.
Fernando Fajardo, Managing Director of ACCIONA Infrastructure for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, welcomed the guests to the inauguration, which was also attended by the Spanish ambassador to the Philippines, Jorge Moragas.
The inauguration marks the opening of ACCIONA’s second sales office in Southeast Asia, complementing its office in Singapore.
The Philippines has become a key country for ACCIONA’s strategy in the Southeast Asia region, principally for water treatment and transport infrastructures.
In 2016, ACCIONA was awarded the contract for the Putatan 2 drinking water treatment plant, which was recently inaugurated and serves a population of approximately six million people. Construction of the Cebú Bridge, which will bring numerous benefits for traffic management in the area, is another major project that the company has in this region.
